Gabriel Cheong is the owner of Infinity Law Group based in Quincy, MA.

Gabriel started his own law firm straight out of law school.  His law firm grew steadily for the first year until he had the opportunity to purchase the law firm where he once interned in law school.  In 2008, Gabriel purchased Infinity Law Group and is now running a law firm while blogging, tweeting, marketing and giving seminars on marketing and law practice management on a regular basis.

His law practice is primarily focused on divorceestate planning, and prenuptial agreements.  Gabriel is a trained family court Conciliator and volunteers his time helping litigants at Norfolk Probate Court. He is also a trained family law mediator, guardian ad litem, and parenting coordinator.

Gabriel currently serves as a council member of the Law Practice Management section of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is also Vice President of Starting Out Solo, a group devoted to helping attorneys who start a private practice after law school succeed.  He also serves as President of Quincy Asian Resources, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to helping the Asian community through information services, outreach, language classes, volunteering and youth programs.  In his spare time, Gabriel enjoys the company of his house rabbits and corgi.

Pro Bono Activities

Gabriel routinely gives his time to benefit the legal and non-legal community.  Every  month, Gabriel participates in the Lawyer for the Day program at Middlesex Probate Court for up to six hours each time.  He also donates his time to the Massachusetts Bar Association’s monthly Dial-a-Lawyer program, donating two hours each month fielding calls from the public seeking legal advice.  In 2011, Gabriel started a legal clinic at Quincy Asian Resources and with the help of several attorney friends, give legal advice to the Asian community for up to three hours each month on the fourth Monday of the month.  Gabriel is also a court certified Conciliator, which is a pro bono mediation-like service through certain probate and family courts.  In addition, every year Gabriel contributes to the education of High School youths in civic engagement and learning the judicial system through volunteering as a judge of the Mock Trial program sponsored through the Massachusetts Bar Association.

In addition to the routine and regular pro bono activities listed above, Gabriel regularly gives of his time in speaking to members of the legal community on law practice management issues and helping other attorneys succeed in their solo practice efforts.
